Welcome! Rather than bore everyone with numerous posts on Facebook I am presenting my creations here. I've just finished this pleated tarten skirt for a costume. I'm going to a fancy dress party as the gorgeous Abby from NCIS and rather than hunt the shops I dug out my sewing machine and whipped up this little number.
It turned out a bit shorter than intended when my scissors got the better of me and I cut on an angle but with fishnets underneath I'm happy.
I liked the pattern so much I'm now making another skirt in black cotton but I will leave this one longer so it's work safe. :-)
Ahhh now I understand!!!! I used to sew all the time... Havent made clothes for years!!!
